Our Three Ps
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. At GoodLife Physical Therapy we make every effort to differentiate ourselves from our competition by demonstrating our dedication to both our patients and our profession.
Goodlife opened doors in April 2008. Founder and owner, Mickey Shah was driven to start his practice based on one fundamental principle — Provide the highest quality patient care based on scientific research and methodology.
Over the course of Goodlife’s history there have been many changes in our healthcare community; yet we have remained an independent PT owned business that has survived and grown because we have established a reputation of getting the results our patients and referral sources expect.
Our programs are designed to ensure injured patients return to their optimal level of performance and decrease the occurrence of re-injuries.
In terms of profession, our therapists participate in on-going certification programs and accreditations in order to obtain the knowledge and clinical experience to coach our patients back to health, quickly and safely.
Our philosophy is to develop your plan of care based on our professional judgment and best practices—not a “cookie-cutter” protocol. Our clinic is results driven, not cost driven. Therefore, at Goodlife Physical Therapy we provide care that is best suited to patients, not insurance companies or self-interests. Many other providers – under pressure from insurance companies—set up their practice to minimize their costs, reduce time spent with patients, and increase their number of patients per hour. This can greatly reduce the quality of care and the patient experience. We don’t think that makes sense; your rehabilitation deserves our full attention.
In conjunction with a patient’s treatment, Goodlife therapists provide educational information to help the patient understand how to help themselves. Painful situations that have not healed in a predicable amount of time often require a lifestyle assessment to help the patient understand what daily habits could be contributing to their ongoing painful condition. Through this process, patients come to understand that getting better requires their interest and participation to reach their goals. When a patient is discharged from our care, it is our hope that they feel their physical therapy experience was an investment for a healthier future and well worth their time and effort.
