Who We Are

GoodLife is an independently owned Physical Therapy business dedicated to its patients and profession. We provide the highest quality patient care based on the most current research and methodology. Our therapists participate in ongoing certification programs to help our patients on their journey to better. We are pleased to begin helping clients in La Grange, IL. 

We believe your rehabilitation deserves our full attention, which is why we take the time to spend individualized time with you to perform routine re-assessments. Each patient will receive one-on-one time with at therapist to determine the best treatment plan for their recovery goals. 

Our La Grange clinic will be coming soon!  We will be opening in Spring/Summer 2019. The communities we will be servicing will include La Grange, Western Springs, Brookfield, and more.

Meet The Therapists

Matt Smith

Matt Smith

PT, DPT

Dr. Matt Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, FAAOMPT (C), 

Matt is a Physical Therapist at Goodlife Physical Therapy in La Grange, IL. He has been a member of the La Grange community for over 15 years since he attended Nazareth Academy where he met his wife, Erin. One of his main goals was to bring high quality Physical Therapy care to the La Grange community

He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northwestern University and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. He practices MDT (McKenzie Method), Graston Technique, dry needling, Applied Functional Sciences and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Currently, he is completing a fellowship program in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is a strong believer in patient independence and personalized one- on-one care.

In addition to treating patients, Matt has been working as contract faculty at Northwestern University, teaching the next generation of Physical Therapists. He regularly competes in triathlons in his free time and races across the Midwest.

Post-graduate clinical certifications in the following:

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
  • Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
  • Candidate – Fellow in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT)

Robin Clark

Robin Clark

Office Manager

Robin is one of the friendly voices and faces that our patients hear and see when coming into our physical therapy clinics. She has been with the company for a little over 3 years and is excited to grow with the company. As the office manager, she travels between our 3 clinics and handles billing, accounting, and patient records. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to bake with her niece and nephew. She is very passionate about ministry work and loves her cats.

Laura Petritis

Laura Petritis

Front Desk Coordinator

Laura is the Front Desk Coordinator at our Orland Park location. She handles all front desk operations including patient scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and patient authorization. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lewis University in Human Resources and Psychology, and loves working with people.

Laura is married and has two daughters. She loves going to concerts and going shopping with her girls. Laura and her family are also involved with Special Olympics Illinois.
